Obituary for Alvin Pitts
Alvin Pitts, age 87, of Crooked Creek Road in Irvine, passed away Friday, February 23rd, at the Irvine Health and Rehabilitation Center, following a long illness. He was born April 30, 1930, in Estill County, a son of the late Thomas Steven and Lula Proffitt Pitts. He retired from General Motors as an assembly line worker and was a farmer. He was a member of the Irvine First Church of God and the Fitchburg Masonic Lodge. He had lived in Estill County most of his life. He is survived by: His Wife: Margaret Ann Winburn Pitts 2 Daughters: Christina Gail Pitts Estill Co. Carol Jane Pitts Ohio 2 Sisters: Leona Vickers Ohio Betsie Simkins Ohio He was preceded in death by 1 Sister, Pauline Clayton, and 1 Brother, Harold Pitts. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Scott Moler with burial to follow in the Crowe Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Monday.
