Alma E. Jenkins, age 88, a resident of the Madison Health & Rehabilitation Center, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the Center following a long illness. She was born September 1, 1934, in Estill County and was the daughter of Johnny and Hannah Sparks Marcum. She was a homemaker and member of the Drip Rock Baptist Church. She had lived in Estill County most of her life. She is survived by:

2 brothers: Orville (Jeanette) Marcum - Louisville
Marvin (Frances) Marcum - Irvine
15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Raymond Jenkins, Blondell Goosey, Ira Lainhart, Ezart Fox, 1 daughter, Janice Murphy, 2 sons, Dale Goosey, Frank Goosey, and 12 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 26, 2 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Poodle Marcum officiating. Burial will be at the Marcum Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12 to 2 PM at the Funeral Home.
