Alma Dean Sparks Tipton, age 66, of Cherry Street in Irvine passed away Friday, June 14, 2013, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center after a short illness.She was born April 25, 1947 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Elery and Edith Maxine Hatton Sparks.She was a homemaker and had lived in Estill County all of her life.She is survived by: Her husband:Vernon Tipton 1daughter:Tammy ; husband, Ricky Ravenna 2sons:Michael Estill Co. Vernon, Jr. and wife, Kim Ravenna 6 sisters:Wanda Rogers ; husband, Sonny Ravenna Jean Spencer ; husband, Jimmy Campton Elaine McIntosh Beattyville Wavalene McIntosh ; husband, Paul Beattyville Deborah Hensley ; husband, Chad Irvine Linda McIntosh Irvine 3 brothers:Randall Sparks ; wife, Mary Ravenna Ronald Sparks Irvine Donald Sparks Georgetown 9 Grandchildren:Bo, Robert, Stephen, Cassandra, Natasha, Ceara, Veronica, Emily and Mattie 7 Great Grandchildren:Trinity, Peyton, Caydence, Abby, Lindsey, Ian and Kenton She was preceded in death by 1 son, Jimmy Wayneand 2 brothers; Edward and Billy Sparks. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 18, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Terry Barnes.Burial will be at the Old Home Place Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Monday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
