Alma C. Fowler, age 71, of McKee Road in Irvine passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at the Compassionate Care Center following a long illness. She was born September 2, 1946 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Lafayette and Lana Arvin Smith. She was a former employee of St. Joseph Hospital and had lived in Estill County most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husbands, David Cain and Stanley Fowler. She is survived by: 1 Daughter: Jeannie Burkhead Scott Co. 4 Sons: Shannon Fred Cain Estill Co. Ronnie Cain Madison Co. David Cain Franklin Co. Victor Cain Estill Co. 1 Sister: Wilma Harris Fayette Co. 2 Brothers: Curvin Smith Woodford Co. Eldon Smith Estill Co. Several Grandchildren and Several Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Anna Smith. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, January 20, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
